Kristin Scott Bower, 58, passed away on June 5, 2015 after a brief and sudden illness with her family by her side.
Beloved Wife, Mother, and Daughter; she is survived by her husband John, 48; son MacKinlay “Mack”, 22; daughter Natalie, 19; mother Elizabeth, 94; brother Mark; sisters Nancy and Marijane; and loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Noel, brother Noel (2013), and sister Barbara (2013).
She was devoted to her family and to the Mary Evelyn Castle Elementary School where she volunteered and worked for more than 15 years.
She will be forever missed.
There will be a Memorial Visitation on Friday, July 31st, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care/Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Everyone wishing to pay their respects is welcome.

  24. To Mrs. Bower’s family – we are so very sorry for your loss. I have two daughters at Mary Castle. They both love reading and love the library/media center. My sixth grader worked with your wife/mom on a regular basis to produce the video announcements. Both Addy and Livy (my daughters) were so saddened to hear of Mrs. Bower’s passing. Your mom/wife supported and impacted our children. We are so grateful. We will miss her smile and help so much next school year at Mary Castle. We are praying for you!   25. It was such a shock to hear about Kristin’s death. I knew her years ago in junior high. We shared a lot of good times together. Sending to John, Mack, Natalie, and the rest of the family my best wishes for peace and healing.
